25K Awards and Freelance
Myself and 2 colleagues, Helen Jackson and Adrian Hickey, have successfully made our way to the final 2 rounds of the 25K awards and have been attending the Northern Ireland Science Park for meetings with HALO business angels for advice on how to proceed through the competition.
Our entry is a business creating content for cultural heritage sites, to be delivered on the iphone/ itouch platforms and we are called "rediscOvery". I designed the branding :D
I have also finished work on reformatting Hayburn & Co. Wood products and furnishings site from their original Flash solution to an HTML one. Very little aesthetically to do on this site- it's purely a behind-the-scenes makeover with a few additions to the embedded Flash elements.
I have also finished rebranding a new fitness and lifestyle outlet in Londonderry/Derry/Whatever called Crawford Health & Fitness. Pictured below is the embroidery design for their uniforms and then the signage/letter head design for general purpose use.

Abacus Recruitment
Consultancy work done through the University of Ulster has yielded a bit of gratifying publicity. My colleague, Adrian Hickey and I were able to work a solution for a problem pertaining to the data infrastructure of an up and coming Northern Ireland recruitment business. Pleasure to work with these guys!

I've been doing vocals for ex-Krab Kriminalz DJ duo, the Superhoomen. Currently I'm working with Fez on doing the artwork for their single "perpetual motion" featuring vocals from yours truly.
It's an awesome track and i'll keep you posted for links to downloads from the label LOST DIGITAL

Currently doing some consultancy through the university for Abacus Jobs in Belfast. Some systems analysis for some switched on entrepreneurs!
...And finally my masters is on the go and there's a piece of work due in 12 January and Christmas festivities will soon be upon us! There aren't enough hours!
Jackalfeud will also be gigging on Friday in Newtownards at the Ivy Bar with Rigger!! And our latest EP will soon (eventually) be available to purchase off itunes and (hopefully) amazon thanks to ReverbNation

Current work update:
I have been quite busy of late and thankfully so in the current economic climate! The Northern Ireland Hospice Ballymena Group are holding a raffle for a mountain bike and I designed them a poster to promote it and apart from consultancy through the UU Tech and my duties as web designer I am designing an interesting site for a Classical Jazz musician which will be finished shortly and available to see in the web section

Chi Cheng, bassist for the Deftones was in a car accident and is in stable condition in a coma. Doctor's anticipate he should wake in the near future- I certainly hope so! Go to the Deftones blog and show your support they are the best band in the world after all. Yeah I said it!
